Cearra is an accomplished educator and passionate advocate for transforming education. She holds degrees from Delaware State University, Syracuse University, and Arkansas State University. Based in Kansas City, MO, Cearra dedicates her work to training educators on implementing effective instructional strategies that empower students to become better decision-makers. She believes that transforming education means providing every child with an equal and fair chance to learn in a way that aligns with their unique learning style.
As a member of the 2023 Koch Association Program (KAP) Cohort, Cearra has embraced Empowered’s growth opportunities and sees her journey as a constant celebration. Her favorite foundational principle is Sound Judgment, which guides her decisions in various aspects of life. Cearra is inspired by her supportive mom and grandmother (Naneenee) and her pastor, Pastor Steve Houpe, as a spiritual mentor.
