Communities are, traditionally, defined as groups with shared characteristics. Recently, community has come to be understood as a kinship, a unifying passion. It is a trust.
The Empowered Community is the latter – a group of 70,000+ Classroom Professionals rallied around the belief that every learner has potential.
Empowered is focused on nurturing our educator community to help keep great teachers in the classroom, to ensure best practices and resources are being discussed and shared in all types of classrooms for all types of students.
Individual teachers and interested organizations are encouraged to contribute to our community.
